Today I bring you an aerial view of the coastal town I grew up in and the town I love to this day. Foz do Douro is a place also known as the "visitor´s room of Porto", a place where people can have a stroll while enjoying the ocean view of the Atlantic. Here where the Douro river meets the sea, is a place of fishermen, old stories and amazing tales, which makes this place ideal for a short vacation. Being born there, I witnessed the growth that Foz do Douro had in the last few decades, and although the place is becoming a bit gentrified due to tourism, the old part of it is still going strong and still has a lot of tradition to be enjoyed.
