Louisville's Lost Giant, the life and death of a monument. An Outer Galaxy Lounge Original Film

The U.S. Custom House & Post Office, the Federal Building, of Louisville, Kentucky, stood from 1892 to 1942, one of many majestic buildings of that era that were destroyed across America for parking lots and brutalist architecture at mid-century. This is a long, episodic film, with some flaws, sound issues, narrative pacing problems and so on. Definitely not something for the era of Tik Tok and Youtube Shorts attention spans. I worked on it for almost two months and rewrote the script 6 times. Re-recorded the narrative track four times. It still felt rushed. But, I had to get it done, flaws and all, and hope you find it interesting and informative. Clearly, I need a real microphone. I want to do more videos on historical subjects, but shorter and faster ones. Leave comments and like if you can. Thank you.
