I explored some of the loveliest Wilderness areas in Washington, Idaho and Oregon. There is no better way to take an adventure than round up some of your best travelers (2 of my kids and cousin) and go backpacking. I backpacked in the lush Olympic National Park (WA) for the first hike, my favorite, the Sawtooth Wilderness (ID) for the second hike and stayed in Stanley for a few days to chill out and fly fish my grandparent's chosen river. Next was a quick visit to recovering Mt St Helen's (OR) and then the addictive Oregon Coast. Future videos will feature each segment and include some of my favorite photos of the time spent in the NW.
