In this video, I take my student through a full-body golf activation warm-up designed to prime the body, not fatigue it, before swing instruction or playing. We move in three dimensions using compound movements, coiling and spinal locomotion patterns, and rope flow to improve: Mobility and usable range of motion Stability through rotation Coordination, timing, and sequencing Feel for swing patterns before hitting balls This isn’t a traditional workout or stretching routine. The goal is to wake up the nervous system, create length through the body, and prepare the athlete to move efficiently. In Part 2, I’ll show you how this preparation carries directly into the swing lesson and the changes we make once the body is ready. My name is Coach Shawn with RC Golf Performance.
