Adam MacDonald wants to help a nation to drink better, as some chefs want to help people eat better. And he is no less ambitious. There is a binge drinking issue in this country (and many others) that needs to be addressed, but there is also a large lack of awareness in how to drink, what to drink and when the best times to drink might be. He hopes to remind people that there is a huge difference between going out FOR A DRINK and going out TO DRINK. Adam MacDonald is an Australian backpacker who threw down his bag in Norway and never got around to picking it back up again. He is a former World Champion in Bartending. Author of The Long Pour and owner of Liquid Engineers and Brick Lane Café. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
