Sgt. Scag and Elmwood Productions have come together to make a music video for Sgt. Scag’s song “Cultination”. These CT based artists powered through a pandemic and safely shot and produced a video featuring no less than 22 puppets, created by the Elmwood Productions team. “Cultination” picks up where Sgt. Scag’s previous video for “Funai Elektric” (   • Sgt. Scag - Funai Elektric  ) left off. Did the time machine the band used to travel back into the late 1990’s when their fans purchased CD’s work? Can the band build a network of time traveling children to grow themselves an empire of fans in modern times? Is the Doctor controlling the band a real doctor? The video was originally intended to be a part of the “Cultination” Beer and Song release show with No Worries Brewing back in 2019. Later intended to line up with the March 2021 vinyl split 7-inch release of “Cultination” in partnership with Hans Gruber and the Die Hards (Orange Juice and Toothpaste vinyl variants still available here - https://sgtscag.bandcamp.com/merch). This video is a fine example of saying your going to do something and sticking to it, dammit. It will also be the last “Cultination” related release, we have milked this song for all its worth!
