This video shows how to open up an older Korg digital piano for repair. In this case I'm replacing the contact strip as with time it has developed splits causing the keys to click and not sound properly. This is about the 5th time the piano has been opened, but I believe everything is in its proper place. I am not a technician, and this is the first time I've opened this piano although I watched closely the last time it was opened as finding someone to work on this piano is difficult. Follow-up: The new contact strip didn't sound quite right, so I looked for anyway it could have been installed wrong. It does have to installed just like the one it replaces, and I noticed that the location of the screws in the circuit boards corresponded with the gaps in the contacts. After the first attempt the gaps weren't perfectly centered so I repositioned the strip to center those gaps on the screw holes. I replaced the strip again in early 2024. And it helps to prop up the ends of the keyboard to get the strip to seat properly in the groove. Otherwise the keys stick up and keep it elevated while replacing the circuit boards. Also, if you're having trouble with sticky keys, see my comment below as you can probably fix it while the underside of the keyboard is accessible.
