This is one of the most awaited Gurgaon Metro Project that will help address the transportation needs of the city connecting The Millennium City Center, Old Gurgaon, and Cyber City. Along with the 28.5 kms, the project will have an additional 1.85 km from Basai to Dwarka Expressway, improving connectivity as well as accessibility across the city. 1. The tender for the appointment of the consultant for the construction of the depot and the first civil package — Millennium City Centre to Sector-9 and Sector-101 Dwarka, covering a total length of around 13 km -- would be invited by January 31, 2025. For the remaining portion — Sector 9 to Cyber City — the tenders would be invited by February 15. An executive committee and a coordination committee have also been constituted to oversee the implementation of the project. 2. first proposed corridor spans 17km from Bhondsi to Gurgaon Railway Station, aimed at reducing congestion on Sohna Road and NH-8. The route traverses through Vatika Chowk, Subhash Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Sohna Chowk, Sector 4-7 Chowk and Railway Road. The proposal indicates intersections with the Millennium City Centre-Cyber City line at Subhash Chowk and Sector 5 stations, alongside a rapid rail corridor interchange at Rajiv Chowk. 3. The second 13.6km corridor will connect Golf Course Extension Road to Sector 5, linking corporate centres with Old Gurgaon's residential areas. Key stops include Hong Kong Market in Sector 57, Ardee City, Millennium City Centre, Signature Tower, Maharana Pratap Chowk, Atul Kataria Chowk and Sheetla Mata Road. 4. The much-delayed metro project to connect Palam Vihar in Gurugram to Dwarka’s Sector 21 will have an interchange with the Gurugram Metro corridor at the Palam Vihar station, an interchange at the IECC station of the Airport Express and another one at the Dwarka metro station of Sector 21.
