READ IMPORTANT DESCRIPTION BELOW: Found this review as last part part of my Boss ME-50B review series. In this part I run through Delay/Modulation section which provide different types of delays and reverbs to create some ambient tones as well as such classic modulation effects like chorus, flanger and phaser. Everything can be adjusted using three control knobs what makes it easy and fast. Important: I didn't include HOLD DLY mode in this video because it works as simple loop machine, so you can make short layered loops of 2.8s long. REVERB - this effect adds reverberation to the sound CHO+REVERB - an effect combining chorus and reverb. CHO+DELAY - an effect combining chorus and delay. The delay time can be set within the range of 100 ms to 800ms. The chorus setting is fixed. CHORUS - this is a stereo chorus effect that adds different chorus sounds to L and R. FLANGER - adds a undulation like that of a jet ascending or descending. PHASER - by adding varied-phase portions to the direct sound, adds a twisting “warp” effect to the sound. 300-1400ms DLY - delay sound of 300 to 1400ms delay time. 0-400ms DLY - delay sound of 0 to 400ms delay time. ANALOG DLY - this gives a mild analog delay sound. The delay time can be set within the range of 100ms to 500ms. TAP DLY - this is a tempo delay that lets you set a dotted eighth note delay time for the performance tempo by pressing the DELAY/MOD pedal in time with the performance tempo. The delay time can be set within the range of 46.5 ms to 1050 ms. HOLD DLY - up to 2.8 seconds of performance content is recorded, then played back repeatedly. You can also layer this as you perform something else, then record these together (overdub). You can keep the recorded content playing continuously as backing and produce other special effects. No compression, equalization and other types of post processing. Sorry for clipping.
