He's picking up his cousin Yuuki Mikage from the shrine she works part-time, and Yuuki's younger twin sister Shana is tagging along. They're on their way home when Ryouji looks up and sees a literal bolt from the blue heading toward them. He gathers his cousins close and passes out as the bolt hits him. Miraculously, he survives, but when he and his cousins decide to head down the road home, they are shocked by what they see. Soon, they realize that they are in another world similar to the one they knew, save for some very important differences.
