The ones that finished the anime/manga know how tragic their love story was, the author utterly destroyed me with that tragic end , I literally cried for days and that is why this anime/manga is a masterpiece because not only the story approaches realistic and dark themes but it also makes you feel for the characters especially for Oscar and Andre... I sincerely think no one can capture the emotions of this relationship like the anime/manga did but I tried my best 🙂 I highly recommend the anime! SYNOPSIS OF THE VIDEO: For the ones that did not watched the anime\ manga and do not know their story is about a noble girl that is raised by her father as a man and future heir of his legacy. Her father in order to make her behave like a man takes little orphan and nephew of Oscar's nanny, André Grandier into his household. The children become best friends learning the arts of fencing and horsemanship together. Years passes and Oscar becomes the commander of Marie Antoinette's Royal Guard while Andre is right beside her as her servant. Things between them get complicated as Oscar falls in love with Hans Axel von Fersen, a Swedish count and Andre must face his feelings of jealousy because of his long secret love towards Oscar. After Fersen confesses to Oscar at the ball (he doesn't recognize her) that his only feelings towards her is friendship because his heart belongs to Marie Antoinette, Oscar goes to the gardens of Versailles where Andre confesses and kisses her forcefully. Oscar refuses him because of that he has no right as he is a commoner and she is a noble and seeing him as a brother. Both friends agree to not talk of this situation anymore and as the revolution begins Oscar defies her father on standing with the commoners against the nobility. After Lord de Jarjayes slaps her, Andre comes and saves her and they run together to their childhood place where Oscar confesses her love towards him and they end up making love not knowing that this will be the first and the last time, as Andre dies in the revolution and Oscar follows him after the commoners take Bastille. My video ends in an after life were both of them reunite and go horse-riding and are happy and together.
