The island sits at a quiet fracture in the northern layline arc — a dark volcanic table rising from cold Atlantic water, isolated from the mainland and exposed to uninterrupted signal drift. Following the collapse of the lower relay chain, dormant activity resumed at the Drangey point. No source beacon has been identified. No surface structure is visible from a distance. Yet transmission bleed continues across the waterline during low-light conditions, particularly when barometric pressure drops over Skagafjörður. Field interpretation suggests this is not a terminal site, but a secondary monolith event node — one of several elevated points still binding the network together after the fall.
