Tension continues in Ballari as a model house belonging to Gali Janardhan Reddy and former minister B. Sriramulu was allegedly set on fire by miscreants. The incident happened at the G-Skyr Layout near the Cantonment area in Ballari, just days after the banner controversy rocked the city. The Ballari model house fire has raised serious political allegations. Former MLA Somasekhar Reddy claimed that threats were made during the banner row and now those threats have turned into action. He alleged that this was a planned attack and blamed the Congress for the incident. According to sources, the Ballari model house fire broke out around 6:30 PM on January 23. Fire department staff rushed to the spot and managed to control the blaze. Police also visited the site and are investigating the case. Speaking to the media, Janardhan Reddy said he has already informed the Ballari SP and discussed the matter in detail. He added that he is currently in Bengaluru for the Assembly session and will travel to Ballari immediately after it concludes. The Ballari model house fire is being viewed as a serious law-and-order issue.
