Ven Canda starts with a talk on the difference between waiting in the future and waiting in the moment, and how the latter softens our perceptions and brings up contentment, closing the gap between where we are and where we want to be. She goes on to discuss how loving kindness can be used as a skillful tool for patience, one we can use to shift our perceptions and learn to look upon the world and our own experiences with kindly eyes. After the 17-minute talk, Ven Canda leads a 40-minute guided loving-kindness meditation.
