Veronika Kostková is a fashion designer who transforms wedding dreams into reality, creating dresses that allow women to rediscover themselves. More than 500 brides from Slovakia and abroad have entrusted her with one of the most meaningful days of their lives. At TEDxHumenné, Veronika speaks about feeling beautiful in your own skin and embracing individuality in life’s defining moments. Her mission goes beyond design: she helps women step into a deeper sense of confidence, authenticity, and self-worth — and to carry that feeling far beyond a single day. Veronika Kostková is a fashion designer and fashion expert who believes that every woman has the right to experience the feeling of beauty on her own unique day. "Being the most beautiful in the world" is not only about outward appearance but also about the inner feeling of self-confidence and trust in oneself. With her help, dream dresses become a reality. Veronika understands that every woman first imagines how she will shine on her important day in a dress that transforms her into a princess. The desire for beautiful dresses that reflect her personality and unique stories is natural. "The most important dress in your life" can carry strong emotional weight, and therefore, her clients trust that, thanks to her expertise and sensitive approach, she can capture their vision of perfection. She comes from Trenčín and has been involved in fashion since graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts (2012) in Bratislava. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
