Stock OS can run games sorta well at 1x with the latest update. Using the standalone PPSSPP emulator from CrossMix will let you play most games at 2x. Some will require frameskipping. Short Guide: Download the latest version of CrossMix from the github and copy over the PSP folder into the Emus folder on the SD card. That's it! You can add an icon and background image and edit the config file to show the images as well as copy over any save files. Things to turn down if the game is chugging: Resolution to 1x, Texture scaling to off, Anisotropic filtering to off and turn on Frame skipping. Updating the firmware and base SD files may help with better performance as well.
