This song was played during the TV broadcasting for the official National Day of Mourning for the victims of the February 7 2009 Victorian bushfires. That was my first time I heard this song completely, and I was very impressed. But I found it was difficult for me to clearly catch each word of this song, as I hardly can understand several words (especially some names). Thereffore, I tried to google its lyric and code it to LRC format. I used some video/music that already exists on youtube and my LRC lyric to make this video. You may use this LRC lyric if you like: [00:04.00] (Chorus) We are one but we are many [00:10.00] And from all the lands on earth we come [00:17.05] We share a dream and sing with one voice [00:27.00] I am [00:28.50] You are [00:30.50] We are Australian [00:35.01]I came from the dream time [00:39.42]from the dusty red soil plains [00:42.31]I am the ancient heart - the keeper of the flame [00:49.04]I stood upon the rocky shore [00:51.72]I watched the tall ships come [00:56.00]For forty thousand years [00:57.19]I'd been the first Australian [01:09.35]I came upon the prison ship [01:13.80]bound down by iron chains [01:15.20]I cleared the land, endured the lash and waited for the rains [01:21.18]I'm a settler [01:23.25]I'm a farmer's wife on a dry and barren run [01:28.69]A convict then a free man [01:32.80]I became Australian [01:40.51]I'm the daughter of a digger [01:43.51]who sought the mother lode [01:46.90]The girl became a woman on the long and dusty road [01:53.12]I'm a child of the depression [01:56.52]I saw the good times come [01:59.50]I'm a bushy, I'm a battler [02:03.22]I am Australian [02:08.01]We are one but we are many [02:14.68]And from all the lands on earth we come [02:19.00]We share a dream [02:23.42]And sing with one voice [02:28.00]I am, you are, we are Australian [02:39.48]I'm a teller of stories [02:43.85]I'm a singer of songs [02:46.21]I am Albert Namatjira [02:49.60]and I paint the ghostly gums [02:53.03]I am Clancy on his horse [02:56.91]I'm Ned Kelly on the run [03:00.77]I'm the one who waltzed Matilda [03:03.33]I am Australian [03:06.27]I'm the hot wind from the desert [03:11.91]I'm the black soil of the plains [03:13.89]I'm the mountains and the valleys [03:18.31]I'm the drought and flooding rains [03:21.87]I am the rock, I am the sky [03:25.24]The rivers when they run [03:28.00]The spirit of this great land [03:30.90]I am Australian [03:34.41]We are one but we are many [03:42.64]And from all the lands on earth we come [03:48.34]We share a dream [03:51.84]And sing with one voice [03:56.23]I am, you are, we are Australian [04:01.24]We are one but we are many [04:08.84]And from all the lands on earth we come [04:15.16]We share a dream [04:19.55]And sing with one voice [04:23.03]I am, you are, we are Australian
