Kings Beach, on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia was a surprise package for a fishing trip. There was no trophy fish to take home, but we landed six different types of fish. We found the diversity really interesting - we didn't know what a couple of them were! If you are fishing South Australia then King Beach is a sheltered fishing spot to be when there was gusty northerly winds that would have made fishing many beaches pretty awful. We have spent a lot of time down south over the years but did not know that this secluded beach existed until recently. It is worth a visit!
