Sim racing gear can be really expensive, but you know what's a lot more expensive? Drifting or Racing in real life. In this video I break out the cost of my Thrustmaster T300rs setup that I used to learn how to drift in Assetto Corsa, as well as the cost of my first season drifting in real life with my 2007 Nissan 350z. The overall amounts I spent on sim gear and real life events last year is pretty similar, but when you dig into the seat time I got in return from each the differences are pretty astronomical. If you're a car enthusiast with any interest in grip or drift, whether that be in real life or sim, I think you'll find this video pretty interesting.
