We are in town for a quick getaway before christmas and decided to spend a few days in Branson! On our last day we headed to Silver Dollar city and spent the entire day eating yummy food, riding thrill rides like the time traveler and powder keg, seeing shows, and just spending quality time together as a family. Of course we couldn't forget the lights and all the festive Christmas activities and food! It was super crowded at the park so we ended up getting the Trailblazer passes which allow you to cut the main line and get right in the front. Its pretty expensive but worth worth every penny if you have the extra money. One of our favorite things to do at Silver Dollar City is the jail they have!! If you ever go to SDC you have to check out the silver dollar city jail. It's so funny and a great place to take photos in the park! Theres a few surprises in there too! Mellisa snd Jeremy also got the chance to ride the new Fire in the Hole ride for the first time! this is one of our all time favorite rides so we had to make sure to ride it while were there! All in all we had a great family fun day together. Aubrey loved the Powder Keg, CAleb did not like fire in the hole but loved grand fathers mansion, Mellisa liked the food and Jeremy really liked Time Traveler. We stayed for the parade and it was so beautiful! Another thing we did for the first time this year is ride the silver dollar city train! it was so much fun.
