How to remove CBR300R seats, middle cowl, lower cowl, and side cover. Taking the fairings off isnt difficult, but the middle cowl does require just a little finesse. It should take less than 20 minutes. Passenger seat: use the key in the seat lock, and lift up. Main seat: Use a 10mm socket on the two bolts, and lift up and back. Middle cowl: Use a 5mm hex drive bit ("allen key") to remove the 5 fasteners, pull it free of the bosses, rotate down, forward, and out to free it from the clips, and then unplug the blinker wires. Under cowl: Use a 5mm hex drive bit ("allen key") to remove the 4 fasteners, and pull it off. Side cover: Use a 5mm hex drive bit ("allen key") to remove the 2 fasteners, and then pull it free from the 2 bosses. Voiceover recorded in Audacity with a Blue Yeti.
