A quadcopter, it's blades are completely shrouded inside carbon fiber enclosures, eliminating the risk of injury or damage owing to propeller strike. It is capable of recognizing its user's face, or body, and following them autonomously. It can also be controlled via a smartphone app using one of three control modes: a gamepad style input, virtual RC joysticks or by tilting the phone itself. The small, lightweight aircraft can easily be launched, or recovered, by hand, and carries a 4K video camera capable of capturing 13 megapixel still images. It sells for $599 and is available now through the company's website.
