“Pseudo People” contemporary installation The artist Solongo Tseekhuu created the installation work called "PSEUDO PEOPLE" in which she depicts troll-like pseudo-people. Mankind has sung tales of heroic individuals and painted their legends and wrote poems of their heroic and selfless deeds for many thousands of years. But it also warned of another kind of people. They see bad in everyone, ignore good in everything, and criticize other people's work and achievements. They suck life out of their surroundings but appear normal. They seem to have freedom, but they live to please those who are above them and try to denigrate those who are below them.But they themself are idle, deceitful, self-centered dull creatures. The artist is concerned of this phenomenon which not only endured the test of time for thousands of years but actually is spreading in our society. They are everywhere, those contemporary “normal-like” humans. The artist depicted them in the form of shadowy figures, called "pseudo-humans”, on cotton sheets with water dye for natural fibers. The muddy and impure colors are purposely chosen to depict moods and characters of pseudo-humans.
