When using the right cards together (to make a Citi Trifecta, or more), you can create one of the BEST credit card setups and strategies of all time AND do so at a very low cost (i.e. annual fees). For example, the Citi Strata Premier, Citi Custom Cash, and Citi Double Cash (i.e., Citi Trifecta) only costs $95 total per year. The first hack we’ll talk about gets around Citi’s terms that say, “Citi will only issue one Citi Custom Cash Card account per person.” You can actually get MULTIPLE Citi Custom Cash Cards, but not by applying for them directly. The second hack will teach you how to combine Citi ThankYou Points. THIS IS HUGE. Why? Because it enables the ability to redeem ALL Citi points via Citi transfer partners (note: you’ll need the Citi Strata Premier Card to make this work). Without this hack, you’d be stuck with separate Citi ThankYou point balances for each card, which would mean the only points you could redeem via transfer partners would be the ones actually earned by the Citi Strata Premier (points earned from other cards would be ineligible). Even BETTER? It allows for the next hack to work on a HUGE scale. The third hack will show you how to get 10% back every time you redeem Citi ThankYou points (up to 100,000 points per year).
