Derive a function for bridge voltage versus the battery voltage as well as all four of the resistors in a Wheatstone Bridge. In this video we will also graph voltage versus the value R4 which will act as the variable resistor. We will also look at the bridge voltage versus the voltage across one of the other resistors in order to create a linear, more accurate relationship between the bridge voltage and R4. This problem comes up when discussing series and parallel circuit combinations and serves as a lead in to the loop rule and junction rule. This problem is commonly found in AP Physics C E&M introductory college physics and appears on A-Level physics as well as the JEE.
