For the very first time, the Caledonian Sleeper makes a scheduled stop at Birmingham International station — and in this video, I’m onboard for night one of this historic change. Join me as I wait on the platform at Birmingham International for the inaugural stop of the Highlander service, before boarding the Caledonian Sleeper and heading north towards the Scottish Highlands. Onboard, I take you on a full tour of my Classic Solo Room, exploring the layout, onboard amenities, and the thoughtful details that make overnight rail travel such a special experience. I also visit the Caledonian Sleeper’s world-renowned Club Car, soaking up the atmosphere as we travel through the night.
