Most pastors are asking the wrong question. It’s not “Is the person you’re dating the one?” The real question is: Are you becoming the one God can entrust with a son or daughter of God? In this teaching, I break down 3 biblical relationship types: • Ruth & Boaz – survival, provision, protection • Song of Solomon – passion, attraction, desire • Adam & Eve – pre-fall covenant, mission, divine alignment Not all love stories are equal. The level of love you experience will reflect the level of transformation you pursue. If you want an Adam and Eve type of love, you must become an Adam-level or Eve-level believer. That means developing the 5 capacities Jesus modeled in Ephesians 4:11–16: APEST Apostle. Prophet. Evangelist. Shepherd. Teacher. I call this the BRAVE framework: Builder. Revealer. Ambassador. Vessel of Care. Educator. When you develop these capacities, you gain discernment. You stop chasing feelings and start building covenant.
