Pro Mist 1 Filter Test and Comparison (BMPCC) (with black and white grade)

This is a short test of the pro mist 1 filter. I recently bought one off ebay for a relatively cheap price because I was curious as to how it performed. There wasn't too much online about the filters, and even less for this strength. We are planning in the future to shoot a noir style short film and I thought this type of filter would excel at creating that look. The "colour correction" was done using a simple BMD film to Rec 709 lut. This was done so that it was exactly the same for both the filter and the non filter footage. The "colour grade" was done by primarily using film convert and really bumping up the contrast and lowering shadows. A light bit of "faded film" was added to to give it a slightly dated look.
