🎬 Superhero movies can leave us thrilled or leave us cringing. Today, we’re counting down the 10 Worst-Written Superhero Movies that didn’t quite hit the mark. Let’s dive in! 🍿 At Number 10: Justice League (2017) At number 10, we have Justice League (2017). Despite its star-studded cast, this movie struggled with inconsistent tone, weak villains, and rushed special effects. Steppenwolf failed to deliver as a compelling antagonist, and the characters never felt fully developed. Behind-the-scenes issues resulted in a film that felt messy and unfinished. At Number 9: The Marvels (2023) At number 9, we have The Marvels (2023). The cosmic adventure felt overstuffed with plotlines that didn’t connect. Despite its potential, awkward pacing and underdeveloped characters like Ms. Marvel dragged the film down. A more focused narrative could have made this much better. At Number 8: Madame Web (2024) At number 8, we have Madame Web (2024). A movie about psychic powers should have been thrilling, but this was anything but. The rushed story, poorly executed twists, and lack of tension left audiences unsatisfied. Cassandra Webb’s intriguing backstory deserved a better exploration. At Number 7: Catwoman (2004) At number 7, we have Catwoman (2004), a movie that’s become a pop-culture joke. The weak plot about a cosmetics scandal, bad CGI, and awkward action scenes ruined what could’ve been an iconic solo film. Halle Berry tried, but the writing failed her. At Number 6: Fantastic Four (2015) At number 6, we have Fantastic Four (2015). The reboot was doomed by studio interference and underwhelming storytelling. Doctor Doom felt like an afterthought, and the team chemistry was non-existent. What could have been a solid origin story turned into a forgettable misfire. At Number 5: Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) At number 5, we have Wonder Woman 1984 (2020). A sequel with great potential, but its pacing issues and messy plot hurt it. The magical “wish” device felt lazy, and the villains failed to live up to the expectations. Even Gal Gadot’s charm wasn’t enough to save this one. At Number 4: Kraven the Hunter (2024) At number 4, we have Kraven the Hunter (2024). The origin story of one of Spider-Man’s iconic foes missed its target. Poorly developed characters, predictable storytelling, and lack of tension made this film feel generic. Kraven deserved a better backstory. At Number 3: Morbius (2022) At number 3, we have Morbius (2022). Jared Leto’s vampire experiment went horribly wrong—on and off-screen. Plot holes, forgettable villains, and forced connections to larger universes dragged it down. The movie lacked the horror-thriller punch it promised. At Number 2: Green Lantern (2011) At number 2, we have Green Lantern (2011). What could have been an epic space adventure turned into a CGI-heavy mess. Ryan Reynolds couldn’t save this poorly written movie with predictable plotlines and a weak villain. Even the Green Lantern Corps felt underused. At Number 1: Man-Thing (2005) And at number 1, we have Man-Thing (2005), a swamp horror that sank without a trace. Poor writing, bad special effects, and bland characters made this movie forgettable. Instead of being a terrifying creature feature, it became a boring, low-budget mess.
