Regional Skilled Trades Program - West Credit SS

The Regional Skilled Trades (RST) program is an applied program focusing on Skilled Trades, leading to apprenticeship pathways and opportunities to meet labour force demands locally, regionally, and provincially. This unique program is for students who are experiential learners. Core subjects will be offered at the applied level with high level of exposure to technology shops in a wide variety of trades, including red-seal trade areas. This program is open for students who live North of Highway 401 in Ontario. Students South of Highway 401 can apply for the Regional Skilled Trades program at West Credit Secondary School. The RST program allows students to choose courses that specialize in the following sectors: Construction Technology (electrical, plumbing, framing, etc.), Transportation Technology (auto body, auto service, etc.), Hospitality (chef training, baking, etc.), and Personal Services (hairstyling, aesthetics, etc.).
