Visit my forum: http://www.programmermind.com Atari Website page: http://www.programmermind.com/AtariBa... My website: https://sites.google.com/site/program... Below is another website that shows all of the Atari 65xe/800 videos on my YouTube channel for easier reference: http://www.programmermind.com/atari/a... This was a game created in Atari Basic by a contributor to the Antic Atari magazine. Antic used to sell their magazines in the stores and by direct mail. People would get so hyped up over that magazine since there was always some new cool program that came out. The game is quite simple, but I had difficulty moving around because of the joystick I am using. I bought it on Ebay several years ago and didn't know what I was getting. However it also came with some floppy disks and other hardware so it wasn't a total loss. Since we are on the subject of hardware I wanted to mention that I also have several joysticks, the paddles (remember those from the Atari 2600), and a cassette recorder. I was pretty much the fanatic over Atari. What never dawned on me is I had my computer, games, and magazines all stacked away in my closet for years. I just didn't have the heart to part with my stuff. After all these years it is finally getting some light again and quite a following. Help for this video: Hold down control and press the 1 key to pause a listing after typing LIST LIST 20060,32767 (shows all lines within that range. The number 32767 is the max number of lines that can be typed in Atari Basic. Programming direct commands: POKE 710,50 (will change the inner screen to a red color). POKE 712,100 (will change the border to purple). POKE 709,1 (changed the text to black. This wasn't visible in my example because the background was changed to black with POKE 710,0. POKE 710,255 allowed the text to be seen again since it is a higher color than 0 (black). The number 255 is a bright color that appears yellow). So as I mentioned in a previous post, stay tuned and I promise you that some GREAT Atari moments are ahead!
