This used to be a very important place, but these days feels almost forgotten... I spend a few days exploring the Machars, visiting the towns of Wigtown, Whithorn and the Isle of Whithorn. While exploring, I discover ancient stone circles, WW2 remains, a historical Scottish castle and Scotland's early religious sites.
