Driving Detroit Abloom Community Revitalization from the Ground Up

Detroit Abloom is proud to be a pioneer of cut flower farming in Detroit. We also specialize in making butterfly, sanctuary and educational school gardens, boosting butterfly and pollinator insect populations, and are developing an ever-expanding native plant nursery. Our deepest wish is that we can work with others to turn Detroit into the vibrant city it was meant to be. We envision Detroit blooming from within as more and more people express their love for one another and the community, and outwardly, by growing flowers everywhere. We hope you'll join us in this vision by sharing joy and bringing flowers into your life. Both of our projects are located in the Jefferson Chalmers neighborhood on the lower east side of Detroit. Our office, hoop house and root cellar are at 313 Newport and our cut flower farm - Detroit Abloom - is located on the 200 block of Manistique and Ashland (use 248 Manistique for your GPS).
