Climbing One of the Tallest Peaks in the Smoky Mountains! | Mt. Leconte

We hike to the top of Mount LeConte, the 3rd highest peak in the Smoky Mountains! We see Arch Rock, Alum Cave, Myrtle Point, Leconte Lodge, and the summit! This was the most amazing hike I’ve done in my entire life. The top of the mountain can be accessed from multiple trails; I took the Alum Cave Trail to get there, which is around a 10-mile round trip. The mountain has a lodge and cabins at the top, which visitors can stay in during certain parts of the year. The supplies for the lodge are brought up by packs of llamas. On the way to the top of the mountain, we’ll see Arch Rock and Alum Cave. We’ll also see some incredibly slippery walking paths. Stay tuned for the journey and for some incredible views!
