Kristina Mering is the founder and president of the Estonian animal protection organization Nähtamatud Loomad (Anima International Estonia). She started the organization two years ago and has been able to achieve a highly-functional effective organization with a very short period of time. She has been active in the animal rights field for 13 years, having previous experience in different organizations before starting her own in 2017. She has a BA in sociology and is doing her MA in Tallinn University in sociology, looking into the social norms of eating meat.
