Bell tents here in the UK will often go for £100+ per night, and it's not uncommon for them to be situated in plain grassy fields. So when I came across the Sao Vicente Granny's Farm, a stunning small but perfectly formed glamping site made up of a handful of well appointed bell tents - and they were only charging £38 per night for the whole tent, I couldn't resist booking a few nights! Granny's Farm is named so as the current owners inherited the farm from their Granny and turned it into accommodation for tourists. Its therefore set amongst fruit trees and tasteful, well cared for flowers and other plants to help with the pollination of the fruit and veg. The backdrop to the campsite are the lush, green mountains that hug Sao Vicente.
