http://www.cheaphumidors.com/a/pretty... Sosa Wavell Maduro Ornate gold designs on the band conceal Dominican tobaccos with a diverse array of flavors. With varying wrappers of either Ecuadorian Sumatra or Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro, you never know what enjoyment might await you. Hi, I'm Nada with smokingcigargirl and today I'm going to be reviewing the Sosa Wavell Robusto Maduro. This is a 5 x 50 cigar with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper and Dominican binder and filler. This cigar has a very rustic dry looking wrapper, a couple of visible veins and the wrapper is mottled. There is an earthy aroma at the foot of the cigar and a hint of cocoa. There is a very rich cocoa flavor on the cold draw. The cigar starts off with a bit of pepper on the front of the palate and it's not very bold but there is a hint of it there and a little bit of dry woodiness on the finish. I'll be back in a few minutes to discuss the first third of this cigar. The first third of this cigar has had mostly citrus and floral notes on the front of the palate. The finish started off pretty dry and woodsy and getting less so throughout the first third. The draw on this cigar so far is excellent and the burn has been very even and consistent and the ash has been holding on great so far. The floral notes of this appeared from the front of the palate on the second third of this cigar and the flavors are now mostly citrusy. There is also a hint of pepper now on the finish. This cigar continues to have an excellent burn. The final third of this Sosa Wavell Maduro Robusto started off with some floral notes on the front of the palate and more pepper notes on the finish. As the cigar has progressed through the final third, the pepper notes have picked up on the front of the palate and the finish so this is becoming a mostly peppery cigar. This cigar has had a great draw throughout the whole smoke as well as a very even and consistent burn. I haven't had to relight or touch up the cigar at all since I lit it. The ash has also hung on very well I've just been tapping it out occasionally. This cigar is a medium bodied cigar mostly due to the flavor it picks up towards the end and probably a mild to medium strength cigar, maybe medium at best. So it is really a good any time of day smoke, afternoon or first cigar of the evening. As always I'd love to hear what you thought of this review and if there is anything you'd like to see me review in the future and if you'd like to check out my sponsor Cheaphumidors.com you can find them on Facebook under www.facebook.com/cheaphumidors.
