Verify using Google Play Store for Android and Apple App Store for iOS devices. Tap on "Update" to get the latest version, if it is available. Step 2: Create a photo or video status, as you normally would. However, this feature does not work for text status updates. Tap on the "Updates" tab and select the new photo & video status option. Select the photo or video you want to post. Step 3: Tap the music icon in the status editor. Remember, this will only be visible if you're running the latest version of WhatsApp. Step 4: Use the search bar at the top of the page to select a song from the available library. Simply type in the song or artist name to find the tune you want. Step 5: Tap on the song name to sample it and ensure that it's the one you want.
