From the vast, barren expanse of the Nullarbor Plain, to the sandy, rugged tracks & weather-beaten beaches of WA’s Ningaloo Coastline, to the remote, iron-ore rich deserts of the Pilbara, we've ventured through a mix of sealed roads, corrugated gravel, sandy dunes, and dusty trails—we explore its off-road capabilities & high end features, all while enduring a variety of weather conditions. How did the van perform? Did it allow us to camp off-grid, reach remote destinations, and stay longer - is it the best luxury caravan in Australia? Let us show you! Welcome back to another episode - "OUR ZONE RV CARAVAN REVIEW & REFLECTION." After covering approximately 23,000 km, we felt it was the perfect time to share our experiences. With so much off-grid adventure under our belts, we've truly come to appreciate the beauty & luxury of our off-grid caravan, complete with all its creature comforts. THIS EPISODE MARKS A SPECIAL REFLECTION, an independant review, of our year-long journey around Australia, & a particular focus on Caravanning Western Australia, living off-grid in our Zone RV Sojourn 21” caravan for almost 12 months. OUR SOJOURN JOURNEY BEGAN last year when we took ownership of our van on December 18th 2023 at Hangar-O, where we enjoyed a fantastic handover experience. AFTER RECENTLY RETURNING TO SOUTH EAST QLD, we filmed this YouTube episode in late November 2024 at the beautiful "Habitat" in Noosa, reflecting on what an incredible year it’s been. From off-grid touring to visiting some of Australia's most remote and stunning landscapes, we've had the chance to explore a host of bucket-list destinations. OVER THE PAST THREE YEARS, we’ve been fortunate to own three different Zone RV models enjoying their off grid caravanning capabilities, and with each one, we've been continually impressed not only by the product itself but also by its constant evolution. The Sojourn model has truly been the best choice we ever made! After nearly a year of full-time living in our van, we feel we've gained a wealth of real-life experience, giving us solid grounds to share our honest thoughts in this review. In this episode, Pete walks you through the exterior features and specs, while Tan will give you a tour of the interior. Together, we’ll provide an overall view of our experience.
