This is the exquisite Citroen Xsara Kit-Car of Lars Berntsen, a replica built to emulate 100% the legendary Front Wheel Drive Rally Car of Citroen Racing, the very last 2 Wheel Drive Car to win a full WRC round, all the way back in 1999. This was its competitive debut at Lillehammer HillClimb, where it was possible to witness the tremendous build quality and just how fast it already is even without any prior testing. Only part which was not installed completely to the same lelvel of the old Official cars was the engine, as the gull Race-spec unit with over 300Hp at a dizzying 9.500Rpm had not been installed yet (given how extreme that spec is, and needed further testing) but it still had a screaming XU10J4RS unit fitted producing around 270Hp/8.500Rpm. Weighing 1000Kg (local weight limitations, or else it would be 960Kg as the official cars had) this is a personal favourite from the very person writing these words and a car we, for years, wished to see a unit doing some Hillclimb Racing.
