Taking the Ferry to Bowen island Canada - Beaches, Trails, Seafood, and ice cream

Today my mom, sister and i went to Bowen island for a daughter mother date. We decided to do the walk on ferry option as we didn't feel like we needed to bring our car and wanted to save money as everything is walking distance around Bowen island. Bowen island ferry comes every hour and it only costs 10$ round trip and it takes around 20 minutes to get to Bowen island from Vancouver. We went to a trail that led up to the beach and we explored and played on the beach for a bit. The beach was very beautiful as it had so many oysters on the beach. i was surprised as there were so many oysters everywhere. All the oysters are non edible and there's a sign saying if you eat it you can be fined . After the beach we went to doc morgans which is a nice pub style restaurant on the harbor with a nice patio with pretty views. We ordered the salad, seafood platter and burger with fries. Everything was very delicious. A little bit on the pricy side but you are on a island and in Canada so it is expected. After lunch we went to explore the other side of Bowen island and the beach there. After our walk we went to get ice cream at Earnest Icecream in the harbour. Eating in Bowen island.
