A horrific incident of apathy comes in from a hospital of Prayagaraj, Uttar Pradesh, where three-year-old suffering from intestinal infection was left with an open incision because her family could not afford to pay the fees. The hospital immediately discharged her in the middle of the treatment and left her with an open incision, they also refused to admit her later on. The young girl died at the gates of the hospital. To add to this the hospital, when the police arrived stitched the incision on the girl's body after her she was dead and on the road. The girl was just three years old and lost her life because of the chine spilling apathy displayed by the hospital staff in Prayagaraj.
