In this vlog we are showing how my village celebrates new year. The first week of new year our family celebrates new year by drumming, singing and playing on every equipment that can make a sound around the village and going up to the other family (The Bajale Family) at the end of the village to celebrate new years with them. The Bajale Family invites us in to the community hall and there we have a party which consist of singing, dancing and of course grogging. Then later in the afternoon the men from my family comes to get us back by presenting a Tabua to the Bajale Family as a form of a sevusevu. In the evening the party continues with singing, dancing and grogging where both family tries to make fun of each other and see who will give in first. Bula, Vinaka Vakalevu for contacting us.
