A Light in the Shadows

The Missionaries of the Poor fulfills Christ's mission of spreading the light by living out the Beatitudes. In this way many of those whom they offer their services particularly the poorest of people in Orissa, India have come to realized that these Brothers are in their midst to be one of them in their suffering and joy. They do this by visiting the sick and the dying, giving out food packages to those who have nothing to eat and by sharing with them the life giving word of God. In this manner many have been drawn to the faith and have seen the living presence of Christ in the life of the Missionaries of the Poor.
