SWAY vs TG77: AWM2 comparison demo 1

SWAY is a synth modeled after the Yamaha SY77/TG77. The AWM2 module is the sample playback synthesis engine. I'm currently in the process of measuring all relevant parameters and modeling them to make sure the patches sound as close as possible to the real thing. The video shows which parameters are correctly implemented and utilized in this demo. The current state of the AWM2 module is compared with a real TG77 unit in this demo. The same song with the exact same patches is rendered twice: once with the plugin, and once with the hardware. In the video we switch back and forth between both so you can compare the sound. I haven't implemented the FX section yet, so it is disabled and replaced with some external FX plugins to spice up the sound a bit. For more information visit: https://sheafmusic.com/sway
