The IGU Interview with Dr. Anssi Paasi

To celebrate the centennial of the International Geographical Union, the IGU's Commission on Political Geography arranged to record conversations with a small number of political geographers working in academic settings throughout the world. We were curious to know more about political geography in the past, present, and future. In the past, making such recordings might have involved extensive and expensive logistics, but COVID restrictions in 2020 and 2021 normalized and democratized distance recording and meeting, and we happily found our conversation partners willing to engage on these crucial questions over Zoom. We would like to thank all of our contributors, listed below, who generously offered their time and expertise for this project, as well as the technical crew they enlisted on their respective campuses.
