So for today, let's discuss what really makes it NETA certified. There may be people out there that perform NETA testing, but you as a customer can verify they are following the rules. In my opinion, I think almost everything in this video should be known by all NETA 2, 3, & 4 technicians, but it is not. Additionally, what I forgot to mention here, but I did touch on in in the next video is job leads. The book requires that the job lead on site be a NETA 3 or higher. I see this rule broken probably more than any other rule. Companies will maintain enough NETA 3 & 4 technicians to hold their company qualifications. However, some of their offices may only have a NETA 2, yet they provide NETA testing. That means that one office will never have a NETA 3 or 4 on a job. I understand the challenges with this, but let's be real, you are short-changing the customer and your own employees if you are not following the rules.
