I drive my Thor Majestic RV from Mississippi to Alabama and camp alone at Meaher State Park in Spanish Fort, AL — a simple errand that unexpectedly turned into a beautiful, relaxing escape. In this episode, I continue the DIY repair of my Ford Fiesta after removing the bumper cover, radiator, and radiator fan in my previous video. Since the car isn’t drivable yet, I load up my 30ft RV and my furbabies and hit the road from Coastal Mississippi to Mobile, Alabama to pick up used parts from a salvage business I found online. While I’m in Alabama, I opt to slow down and spend a peaceful night of solo RV camping at Meaher State Park. With its water views, pier, and quiet campsites, it’s the perfect place for anyone craving a calm reset or a scenic stop along the Gulf Coast. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones you never planned — and this impromptu trip reminded me exactly why I love the nomad life.
