Bob Marley and the Wailers Waiting in Vain from the album Exodus released in 1977.. What a great year! ( for my parents.. my dad may say differently ; ) Here is our take on this classic and I have been playing this version since my teenage years.. I never tire of performing this one ( Andy may say differently but we've long learnt to live with his more than occasional lack of enthusiasm ; ) Times were a lot warmer when we recorded this session and this finds us towards the end of the evening and things were getting fairly squiffy for everyone involved it's fair to say.. I believe shortly after this song Lee collapsed in a heap behind the tents and wasn't seen again until the following morning... I look forward to getting these boys out on a camp again but I know there is absolutely no chance of that until we reach at least the spring.. Lee and I however will be out facing the cold this weekend and I'm hoping if my fingers will allow to get some new content down for y'all. In the meantime I hope you enjoy this and a jolly Happy New Year to you all : )
