(and that's really saying something as the whole ost is phenomenal). It's time for an instrumental metal cover of Last Surprise! So the elephant in the room is of course that this theme is originally SO amazing with vocals in the arrangement. But I couldn't resist learning these melodies on guitar and it was SO fun trying to emulate the style and "zazz" of the original singing with an entirely different instrument. I feel like after TONS of takes, I got it pretty dang solid! The arrangement was so fun to put together. I got to really bust out some groovy riffs and my challenge here was keeping the drums as simple as I could without it being boring. The simplicity of the original gives it that groove and that absolutely couldn't be lost. That being said, I absolutely had to put in at least 1 part with double bass because I mean, it's a ToxicxEternity cover haha. Overall I had such a blast putting this together and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
